After you have submitted your application on-line, a hiring team will review and score your answers based on a 100-point Veteran’s Preference system.  The top scoring candidates will be offered an interview either in-person or with a virtual option available.  After interviews, a telephone reference check will be completed prior to an offer of employment.  All Stevens County employees are subject to a criminal background check.
